Relaunch of MobileMKE: Topic: Developing Mobile Games with Unity3d.

  • Jan 25, 2012 · 6:00 PM
  • C2

Speaker: Curtis Gibeaut (cjibo) Jr.

Topic: Mobile Game Development with Unity3d.

Description:

This will be a presentation regarding how to get started making mobile games with Unity3D.  Curtis Gibeaut is a cross platform developer with a passion for Mobile Technology.  He also happens to be an Insomniac which helps him play with so much technology.  (We are still trying to determine if he is human or machine).

Below is the agenda for the meeting.  If you are interested in doing a short show/tell please do.  We will implement a formal process moving forward to RSVP a slot for Show/Tell or Fix My Crap.  If we do not have anyone to do a show/tell we will discuss what this segment of the meeting is as well as explain some of the things to come for the group.

Agenda:

6:00 p.m. Early birds arrive.

6:30 p.m. Host Introduction (Host will tell the group what cool things they do with Mobile)

6:45 p.m. Presentation

7:30 p.m. Community Presentations (Show/Tell, Fix My Crap, etc)

8:00 p.m. Wrap up and maybe socialize.

Pre-Meetup

A few of us will be grabbing food and maybe a drink at Stack'd Burger Bar.  You are welcome to join us if you like at 5 pm.

So glad the group is alive again. I also like Curt's vision for making the group about more than just the meetings. It will be interesting to see how that develops.

True story: When I was about 5 my brother and I would climb on top of my dresser and jump off to my bed. One time, I landed and banged my chin on my knee and bit my tongue almost off. There was blood everywhere and I had to have my tongue stitched back together.

Maybe that's why I'm a bit sensitive to your picture! Ha! Good times.

Now if that doesn't scream, "Mobile Milwaukee!", I don't know what will :-)

First let me cut it all the way off, but that will make doing the topic a bit harder.

Can we get Curtis to change his profile picture. Every time I see him about to cut off his tounge, I get the heebee-jeebees.
