Mobile Monday Colorado- Boulder Meeting

  • ATLAS Institute

Next Monday we are excited to re-start our Mobile Monday Colorado meetings!

Our meeting on September 15th will tackle the timely topic of Mobile Security and we hope to see you there.  Please RSVP now!

Mobile Monday Colorado - Boulder: How Secure is Privacy?

As mobility becomes more integrated into our lifestyles, our devices and applications become more personalized than ever before. As this personalization happens, securing our private and professional information becomes more and more necessary in order to ensure our privacy, credit worthiness, or even our safety. The question for businesses becomes what is the right level of security and privacy capabilities they need to ensure they are protected as a company, you are comfortable as an individual user, and the user experience is not degraded leading to reduced usage overall.

Since we are now seeing security breaches in unprecedented numbers, especially when it comes to eCommerce transactions, security is becoming an even more visible topic of discussion for companies, consumers, governments and policy makers. These breaches have also sparked significant investment in this space during the past several months creating some very interesting market approaches and offerings. Join us for an evening of discussion about security and privacy and how consumers, companies and governments handle the transition to a mobile centric world.

We have two excellent speakers lined up for next Monday – Steve Roper will frame up the issue of mobile security including the key players, the massive scope of the problem and how everyone is impacted; and then Dan Massey will dig in even deeper and share how to ultimately engage with the Federal Government on mobile security projects that may move the industry closer to real solutions.

So good to know that MoMoCo in back. Even though this event conflicts with the Denver Startup Week kickoff bash, I hope we get lots of attendees in Boulder
