I'm havinga lot of trouble getting good skin tone on my photos. They seem to have a blue cast over red/yellow skin. I shot with auto white balance. What can I do in photoshop to fix this?

If you open levels/curves, and use the neutral dropper to sample the white bg (in this case the upper right hand corner, the rest is blown out) you should be able to get a decent white balance sample...

Greg, I offered some photogs to shoot my grey card and I can't remember if you did or not. The easiest way to make sure you have the white balance correct is to shoot a grey card and then set the white balance in LR3, Photoshop, etc. I use a pocket sized grey card called a whibal and I shoot RAW. Note that it only works if you shoot the grey card every time the light/exposure changes (you move the lights, change settings on the lights, change your exposure, the model moves, etc.). Here is a link to a tutorial on using the Whibal - http://www.whibalhost.com/_pf_sitefiles/whibal/WhiBalUserGuide_V10.pdf Others may chime in with other ideas. Also, on this particular photo of Alli the exposure is too dark so you won't get correct skin tone until you get the exposure correct - if you shot in RAW you can easily increase the exposure.

Under the "Develop" Category in Lightroom, in the top section of sliders, play with warmth, exposure, vibrance and brighten.

If you were shooting in RAW. Under the "White Balance" Category in Nikon Viewer 2, you can change the Lighting that the photo was captured in or find tune it. Also you can adjust the exposure by two stop over are under.
