We are a group of new moms looking to make mommy friends in the Oak Lawn area. Most of us started our families in 2010 and are first-time moms.

Our goal is to build a local network of moms so we can plan social activities for our children, our families and ourselves.

The age range of the children in our group is  newborn to 2 years. We are looking to meet other moms with children in this same age range.

If you are a new mom in Oak Lawn (or within a five mile radius of Oak Lawn), and are looking to make new friends, this could be the Meetup Group for you!

A couple of notes about our group:

1. Members and potential members should have a completed Meetup profile with a photo.   Your photo can be of you, or you plus your child, family, etc. The purpose of the photo is so other group members can recognize you at events held in public settings. It also protects the safety of our group and our children.
2. Members should be active.  To be considered an active member of our group, members should attend at least one Meetup a month. Members who are inactive for more than 30 days are subject to removal. This is not only so we have a thriving group with active participants, but also for the safety of our group.

Please click "join us" and fill out the profile questions if you are interested in being part of this Meetup group. A group organizer will contact you with the date(s) for our next new member event. Potential members must attend a new member event before officially joining the group.  New member events are held quarterly and provide an opportunity for pending members to meet the group organizers and other group members before joining the group.

PLEASE NOTE: We like to keep the group small in size so it is easy to get to know each other and to build relationships. That said, we are currently closed to new members. If/when members leave our group, we will review our pending member list to add new members. Thank you!

Annual membership dues: $10. Membership dues will go toward the monthly fee for the group's Meetup website. Leftover funds will be used for supplies for special events.
