We are so glad that you considering joining Moms in the Loop! Our group is composed of many fun, friendly, open-minded and active mamas with babies born in 2012.
We hope you begin taking advantage of your membership in this group immediately and attend some of the awesome meet-ups in our calendar. Our calendar is very active and varied, which is one of the most wonderful aspects of this group.
Also, just a note about some membership requirements that are in place. There is a yearly membership dues of $20 per year. This money will be used toward maintaining the meetup website, and organizing a few large festive group events throughout the year.
The other requirement is that all members must plan and organize at least two meetups per year, and must attend at least one meetup every other month. Planning meetups do not always require out-of-pocket costs. Nature walks; play dates, parks, and library-sponsored events are some good examples of quality meetups that are always welcome on the calendar.
New members will have two weeks to attend meetups to decide if this group is the right fit for them before paying $20 membership dues. If you are not on board with these requirements, just let us know and we can remove you from the roster. Also, if you do not pay your membership dues within two weeks of joining the group, you will be removed from the roster soon after so please take care of that in a timely matter.
Please make sure in your member profile, that you put your first and last name and a current picture of yourself with your baby. Also, make sure that you put an email address that you can be reached at because we do sent out newsletters and important updates from time to time.
