Monkeys With Typewriters Meetup For Writing & Creating

From 7PM to 10PM, we'll meet at the Town Hall at the Artisphere for an evening of writing and creating. Bring whatever project you're working on (or your laptop, notebook or sketchbook if you're starting something new) and let's create something together!

In the first 30 minutes of our meeting, we get set up and discuss our goals and progress on our projects. After that, we independently work on our projects until about 10PM.

We usually meet in the upper level of the Artisphere's Town Hall (to get there, go up the escalator and then up the stairs), though if there is no space you can find us on the lower level of the Town Hall. We'll be the group with tables pushed together -- you should see us as you walk up the stairs. Feel free to bring your own food or drinks, or pop out during the meeting to get a snack from one of the nearby restaurants.

We also now have a backup location. In case we are unable to meet at the Artisphere or there is an event there inhospitable to our writing way of life, we will relocate at the Cosi around the corner, at 1801 N Lynn St, Arlington, VA (intersection of 19th and Lynn Street). The friendly staff at the front desk of the Artisphere can provide directions.

For those who are driving, you can park in the garage at the Artisphere for free if you get the ticket validated at the front desk. The Artisphere is also accessible from the Rosslyn Metro station on the Orange/Blue lines. Driving and transit information can be found here: http://www.artisphere.com/visit.aspx

Please RSVP if you can make it -- we hope to see you soon!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
