Monmouth County American Pit Bulls is a group for those who love their Bully breeds or want to get to know the REAL dog behind all the media hype. We meet a MINIMUM of once a month throughout the year (weather permitting) to talk about and walk our wonderful dogs together in public areas where we will be able to expose them to the public for what they really are, DOGS.

Other breeds & mixes are welcome to join! As long as you are "Bully Friendly" your dog is an "Honorary Pit Bull".

As responsible owners of ANY breed we need to help ensure BSL doesn't come into our lives. We're getting out there & showing the public that in the right hands, these dogs are wonderful. Positive interaction with members of the community is key to keeping BSL away. The next person you encounter could be that one deciding vote where BSL is concerned. Showing them BSL isn't the answer, but responsible and loving ownership is, will cast aside the negative thoughts and help us keep our wonderful dogs where they belong...on the couch, in the bed, and in our home!

-Attempts to advertise or arrange any breeding activities, using this group, by BYB (Back Yard Breeders) will be removed. Only registered breeders are recognized and condoned. If you are suspected of dog fighting or anything related/linked to it, you will be removed & reported to authorities IMMEDIATELY.

-All dogs attending must be current on vital vaccinations.
-Monmouth County American Pit Bull Meetup assumes no responsibilty in the event of your dog becoming ill while out or immediately after the meetup. The owner/handler of the dog assumes FULL responsibility for the dog and his/her actions while attending, by joining MCAPB you agree and acknowledge this.
