Green Singles Hike: Huber Woods

Please join us at Huber Woods Park for a hike.

Notes on directions: we will meet the Claypit Creek Parking area for Hartshorne Woods Park. This is a short hike to Huber Woods Park. This is not the parking area where we meet for other hikes in Hartshorne. Please look at the brochure on page 2 for the location. The brochure is: http://co.monmouth.nj... .

We will be hiking for about 2 hours on a rolling, hilly trail. Please BE SURE that you are ABLE to hike for about 2 hours and KEEP UP with the rest of the group.

Bring a snack and water or juice to drink. Water is very important if it is hot.

We will meet at On the Deck, Harbor View Bar and Restuarant afterwards for Food/Drinks (optional, bring some cash if you think you might like to join us).

STEADY RAIN CANCELS the hike.

A passing shower will NOT cancel the hike nor will a herd of sanguine wildebeast.

As always, our gatherings are low-key and we are a friendly group so you will feel comfortable even if you have not yet been to one of our meetups.

To Clarify: While most of the Green Singles Social Group members like animals and children, our Green Singles social events are for the single HUMAN ADULTS over 21 years - using the 365 days per year Earth calendar (366 days every leap year) of age population ONLY so please leave your pets, robots, interplanetary visitors, other non human species and younger than 21 years of age children at home.

Important Note: The timing on our outdoor events does sometimes vary so please plan for the possibility that an event may run longer or shorter than originally anticipated.

P.S. Do not forget to dress for the weather. It might be cool and/or windy.

The meeting site is very easy to get to from Rt. 36, 2 turns. Take 36 East past 1st Ave in Atl. Highlands pass next light at Grand Ave. bear right on Valley Drive before the next light. Go to the next intersection at the Stone Church bear right on Locust Ave. Don't take the hard right on Monmouth Ave. Go across the intersection to Locust Ave. Parking lot is on the left before to bridge. I am old school, I use Hagstrom maps!

Is there an address or cross roads that someone can give us GPS people who aren't "from" Jersey. I will take Greg's advice and try the Rumson address as well.

Not supposed to rain. Hopefully it'll be all rained out by Saturday. I see we are going to "On The Deck" afterwards? I love that place... :)

A note to those using gps: the parking lot where we meet has a Rumson mailing address. It is actually Middletown Twp. but Rumson mailing. I think someone had a problem with the location with gps for the last hike.
