Green Singles Hike: Huber Woods

Please join us at Huber Woods Park for a hike. Notes on directions: we will meet the Claypit Creek Parking area for Hartshorne Woods Park. This is a short hike to Huber Woods Park. This is not the parking area where we meet for other hikes in Hartshorne. Please look at the brochure on page 2 for the location. The brochure is: .

If we are lucky, we will be serenaded by the famous Huber Moose, who sings popular torch songs of the 1950s.

We will be hiking for about 2 hours on a rolling, hilly trail. Please BE SURE that you are ABLE to hike for about 2 hours and KEEP UP with the rest of the group. Bring a snack and water or juice to drink. Water is very important if it is hot.

NOTE: The Oceanic Bridge between Rumson and Middletown is currently closed. Plan an alternate route if that is the way you usually get to this area.

We will meet at On the Deck, Harbor View Bar and Restuarant afterwards for Food/Drinks (optional, bring some cash if you think you might like to join us). STEADY RAIN CANCELS the hike. A passing shower will NOT cancel the hike nor will a herd of sanguine wildebeast. As always, our gatherings are low-key and we are a friendly group so you will feel comfortable even if you have not yet been to one of our meetups. Important Note: The timing on our outdoor events does sometimes vary so please plan for the possibility that an event may run longer or shorter than originally anticipated. P.S. Do not forget to dress for the weather. It might be chilly and/or windy.

Just wondering if it would be okay to bring along my dog :) He's super-friendly, loves the outdoors, and, oh, yeah, he'll be on a leash!
