The database is altered. The code isn't yet optimized to use the new data, but it gives an additional power should we need it in the future. We have well over 70,000 local coupons... and 12,000 grocers in the database. I feel I'm 24% complete. Sleep is for the weak of heart. I don't have to teach tomorrow, so I'll program through most of tonight.

Welcome to Montana! Maybe you can use your mapping skills to find something to do here(j/k)! Did you check out Cadastral Mapping? It's a great tool to find out property value/ownership. OpenStreetMap has some potential. I mapped out my block and the old train turntable. I deleted a railroad that was rampantly running through the middle of 6 or so residential blocks until it hit malfunction junction(where Montana Ave, Helena Ave and E. Lyndale). Cool idea.

OY! My sympathy. I just moved two weeks ago and I'm still recovering. Let the group know if you need any help moving in when you get here.

welcome to the Helena Blender Group. We are quite small and all novices. But you will indeed meet some interesting people in the computer open source area. One of members, and usual host, Jonny Santy, runs a group here called Montana Ethical Hackers and he is deep into the open source and hacking movement.
We have been on hiatus all summer and will probably start with meetings again in late September or October.
