Official visit of District Governor Young Koh
Every year, we're privileged to host the governor of Rotary District 5230. This year, our district governor is Young Koh, a member of the Rotary Club of Monterey Sunrise, a sponsor of the Rotary Club of Monterey Korean and the owner of Country Club Cleaners in Monterey and Seaside.
DG Young will brief us on district goals and objectives, and on many of the interesting projects and initiatives that the district and Rotary International have in store for this year, including some insight on our fight to eradicate polio completely, everywhere in the world.
Guests are always welcome!
Thursday evening professional development speakers, Friday night socials and Saturday morning Recreational Trail clean-ups are a great way to hit the weekend running, and it's how the Rotary Club of Monterey Pacific combines fun, fellowship and community service.
We've helped homeless people in Salinas, developmentally disadvantaged people in Pacific Grove and kids in Seaside. We've renovated an orphanage in Nicaragua, built blood banks in Nigeria and helped small farmers build businesses in Angola.
