The full title of this Meetup is "Start the Dream High-Tech Company that will Make You Fabulously Rich while Working Full Time and Keeping Your Spouse, Kids and Mother-in-law Deliriously Happy".
Our featured speaker is Sol Lipman, the founder of 12seconds.tv and RallyUp. He will talk about how you can get your own startup company off the ground, without giving up your current job. With a team of fellow entrepreneurs working out of NextSpace in Santa Cruz, Sol spent his days working full time in Silicon Valley, and nights building 12seconds.tv, a viedo-based social networking site, on a bootstrap basis. Rapid success led to the creation of a second concept, RallyUp, which is a location-based social networking platform.

Thursday evening professional development speakers, Friday night socials and Saturday morning Recreational Trail clean-ups are a great way to hit the weekend running, and it's how the Rotary Club of Monterey Pacific combines fun, fellowship and community service.
We've helped homeless people in Salinas, developmentally disadvantaged people in Pacific Grove and kids in Seaside. We've renovated an orphanage in Nicaragua, built blood banks in Nigeria and helped small farmers build businesses in Angola.
