- trad experience with full ropes, trad racks (nuts, cams, friends, hexes, tri-cams, whatever).
- willingness to lead, and belay one or two seconds up some classic routes.
- Have a lead partner lined up.
- Have at least a lead-accreditation indorrs and preferably some outdoors multi-pitch trad seconding experience.
Thursday night (March 28th) or early Friday morning (March 29th)
Leaving the Gunks Monday (May 20th) at noon for a 6-7pm Montreal arrival.
We typically camp at the MUA or Camp slime. It’s free but primitive (no facilities).
These tent-sites are limited in number and are available on a first-come, first served basis.
Alternately, there are many motels in the area that can be shared economically by 4 or more climbers. I particularly recommend the 87 Motel (http://www.87motel.com/directions.html\) in New Paltz.
