Massimo Alfano is owner and chef at Traiteur Massimo. At age 14, with both parents working, he had to start cooking family meals. Every day, he would telephone his mother so she could guide him through getting dinner ready. Given that she had grown up in southern Italy, Massimo naturally developed a passion for the cuisine of that region.
