Tell us a little about yourself

I have a published novel to my name and one in press. I am writing a third as we speak.

How did you become interested in philosophy?

Through literature, which led me to Plato. I was intrigued by the Socratic method and try to use it at all times, while scrutinizing things.

What topics interest you the most?

Language, aesthetics, metaphysics, cosmology.

Can you summarize your philosophical outlook in 50 words or less?

Constantly maintain inner balance and harmony through reason. For me, the idea of reason transcends mere logic and refers simply to the higher human faculties that enable us to transcend the animal and the corporeal.

Your favorite book?

A toss up between Ovid's Metamorphoses and Kalidasa's Kumarasambhava. The latter is a classical Sanskrit poet.

I'm a writer who loves classical literature, particularly Ovid.
