we really made a difference last night , MADA really appreciated our help we all did a great deed too bad we ran out of gifts to give out, I think next year we will do a gift drive so we can be sure that all MADA patrons get at least one gift. it seems every year our bingo event multiply's in attendance .
Compliments from the rabbi he finds our group to be dedicated and helpful group of people . They are so happy to get our help and we are happy to offer it so this is a great partnership.
Congratulation for good team work and thank you all for your support in joining me to host these types of events.

I feel everyone had an enjoyable experience. Just one thing to add - wouldn't it be nice if in future a meal was reserved for each volunteer as a courtesy for their participation over the supper hour ?

Since there wasn't enough gifts, Maybe it should've been only one per household

I believe they had more people come this year then in the past. This is my 3rd year helping out and the first time I helped in the kitchen. They served over 100 meals and ran out of food.
As for the meals for the volunteers some came into the kitchen and took a small plate of what was left over.
Personally I came to help not to eat.

Thank you Ruth for arranging this and I will be back again when ever I can.
Also thank you to Mada for doing their best to take care of all these people who need it. Jack it was a pleasure working with you in the kitchen and thanks to Matte the cook. (great guy)

It's a pleasure helping out for MADA because they're such an important organization in the Jewish community. If tomorrow is anything like sunday it should be a lot of fun.

It's too bad we're only volunteering for three hours. I would be glad to volunteer for other events as well. Does anyone know of another event coming up?

I tried asking someone I knew to help volunteer but it's not that easy. I hope we'll have enough people to cover. I'm surprised with the number of people in Jewish singles that we can't get more than 16 volunteers coonsidering the importance of the event!

Thank you so much! However, my students are 10th, 11th and 1th grades. Nevertheless, they need lots of help to learn English in order to get into North American universities. Again, thanks!!!

    Hello everyone,
I would love to join you, but I accepted a teaching position in Panama City at Instituto Alberto Einstein; a Jewish day school.
I was approached right before Rosh Hashana and flew down right after the Yom Kippur.
Wish me luck! Love to all from Panama!!! Denise

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
