Hello dear visitor ! :)
Welcome to this new group for local & international newcomers and long-time residents in Montreal !!
Group Presentation
It aims to organize social events for Montreal new and long-time residents, between 20 & 35 years old *, from all over the world, to help international and local new residents to get integrated, to feel they're part of this great city. And also to improve their french or english speaking & listening in a cool and relaxed way, as walking, hikking, visiting an exhibition, or around a beer, a glass of wine or whatever you like, in various bars, nightclubs, restaurants, museums, parcs and other places where we could go.
Join us and meet with others expats and long-time residents, make new friends, party, share experiences, explore the city, job hunting tips and anything else. We have regular regular meeting in bars, to help new members to mingle, and we are open to organize all sorts of activities. Feel free to contact us and/or create an event suggestion (following the guideline detailed below **) if you have any idea :)
Yes Montreal is a multicultural city and we gonna prove it !!!
The MNIT Team
if you like our group and events, now you can tip us.
if you like our group and events, you can also like our facebook page.
In order to help us to keep a good organisation and ambiance, our 5 golden rules :
#1: Please RSVP YES only if you can attend, and RSVP NO if you change your plans at least 4 hours before the event, preferentially at least 24h before. Otherwise you'll be counted as a no show.
#2: Only participants registered as RSVP YES in an event are included in the place's reservation. If you bring somebody with you or are a couple account, you MUST add a +1 in your RSVP to ensure this person is included in the reservation.
#3: More than 1 "No Show" at a limited/reserved event without explanation, or 3 max "No Show" in all events, since one year will lead to a group removal. Any +1 the member added will be also counted as another show. People removed for rules #3 are allowed to reapply after 1 year.
#4: Please remember this is not a dating focused group, neither for advertising your own groups or companies. Members are encouraged to report to organizers any people soliciting them by private messaging, in order to help us to ban them from the group, and/or report them to Meetup HQ.
#5: For outdoor events : to agree with the Participant Information and Responsibility Waiver (see below ***).
Note: rules are strictly applied. No exception. Event if we know you.
Thanks! ;-)
* : a specific 35+ group might come later. If you're interested in, please let us know.

Bonjour cher(e) visiteur(se) ! :)
