The Moonlit Poetry Caravan is focused around a shared aesthetic, and a desire to grow as poets via constructive feedback. If you are looking for a poetry group, we may or may not be your cup of tea, and vice versa – and I say this in the spirit of respect for the variety of views that art includes and provokes.
Poets with significant experience in the arts are encouraged to press Apply, and to submit 4-6 poems as a sample via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are interested in all types of unrhymed poetry, with a preference for works that are not overtly narrative. We also lean towards work that does not make excessive use of specific place-names and name-names.
Currently the group meets on first and third Thursday of every month at 7:15pm at one of the poets’ homes. Hosting is not mandatory to be in the group.
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
