Poetic Quid Pro Quo

Another poet reads your poem, then you read it. How does it sound, does it say what you wanted it to say? Then you read someone else's poem. For more information call Elijah at[masked]

This was my 1st interactive open mic poetry event. I enjoyed it very much. I enjoy the crowd, meeting new positive aspiring individuals and hearing their work. I was nervous because I stepped outside of my usual environment and social habits but I did it!! The constructive criticism for each Poet was well. I plan to attend more events, I have a soul, I have a voice, I hear it speak, I feel it struggling to break free from my body.

I loved the energy. Listening to other peoples' work and sharing views is a beautiful way to grow.
