Make Chutneys and Relishes galore!

As the weather gets warmer [ fingers crossed!] , we're going to spend more time outdoors and less time in our kitchens.

 

What I normally do is make a batch of different chutneys and relishes in a couple of hours, bottle them and refrigerate to get me through the week. They make great sides to a plate of warm rice, a good sandwich filling or even rolled in a tortilla or roti with some salad leaves. You can even spread them over your regular pancake for a savoury breakfast!

 

Let's meet at 10 30 am - and make atleast 5 chutneys. Involving strange and wonderful combinations like pineapple-mustard-chilli, beetroot-coconut, tomato-date - all from various regions of India the only thing they have in common is that they're delicious!

Once made, we'll sample them all with either home made Indian breads or rice.

    I think I'll postpone this to another date - because I usually head out on Friday to the local farmer's market and so far only 1 definite RSVP
