"Wilderness" Diving off Vancouver Island with John Rawlings
Are you the type of diver that likes to REALLY get away from what passes nowadays for civilization? Does the thought of being "off the beaten track" appeal to you? Does the bugle of a Bull Elk, the shrill cry of an Eagle or the sound of a distant Wolf's howl tug at your soul? If these things describe you, and the thought of combining them with awe-inspiring diving seems like Heaven to you, then there are some absolutely great places to dive off Vancouver Island that will both delight and thrill you! Come find out about diving in a few of those special, wild places that most people will never see.
Biography: John Rawlings has been diving in the Pacific Northwest for over 3 decades, from the Oregon coast to Northern British Columbia. During that time he has dived in places that thrilled him with their raw natural beauty and have drawn him back again and again. John is currently the Chief Staff Writer/Photojournalist for Advanced Diver Magazine, as well as being a regular contributor to Northwest Dive News and other publications. He prizes the cold, green waters of the Northwest over anywhere else in the world, especially when they are combined with a bit of wilderness.
Kyle from Dive Around the Clock will speak to us on the charity dive event this year!
