KVI Tower & West Seattle Reef w/ Randy Koch - All-Level Two-Tank Boat Dive!
Hello Divers!
It’s still Summer – come dive off a boat! Join Randy Koch on the Aluminator as we explore two of the really great dives in the Puget Sound – KVI Tower and West Seattle Reef.

KVI Tower
The reef is made up of large boulders and concrete slabs that are scattered over the bottom from about 35' down to 100' over a fairly steep slope. This makes it easy to pick your depth as you swim slowly into the current, admiring all of the brown rockfish, octopus and anemones. On your return to the boat, you can pick a shallower depth and see a whole new part of the reef. We frequently see small red octopus and friendly ratfish at this site.

West Seattle Reef
I did this reef the first time the other day, and it was fantastic. Big rock piles are strewn about and simply covered with life. Lots of crabs, anemones, greenling, lingcod, ratfish… Very pretty and very easy to see a bunch – with the bottom being about 60’. Easy! …and beautiful.
Seriously, if you wanted to do two dives in the Puget Sound off a boat that consistently put smiles on your face – these are definitely them.

We meet at the Elliot Bay Marina at 9:00 AM. We expect to leave at 9:30.
Bring your tanks and weights. Lunch and treats are provided.
