Hi Folks,

I wanting to get back in the water provided its not snowing, sleeting, or hailing when I check the weather the night before I go ( almost sound like the Post Office 'No More Delivery on Sat, MAYBE').

I plan at least 1 dive, & if the weather is ok than a 2nd & 3rd dive too.

By the way bring money, paid parking only at this dive site.

SPLASH Times at 9:00AM, 11:00AM, & 1:00PM

There are lots of debris , cylinders, vehicles, boats, what use to be a VW bug & if you really look around under & behind objects you'll find GPO's too.

I plan to use my Pegasus Thruster to scoot around. Max depth less than 100', plan on using my 130 cylinders with a pony, 2 lights, tank light.

I don't have a camera but I encourage those of you with them to bring that camera, ( I like my picture taken too).

CU there,

Bruce Bury

My dive buddy & I did the 1st 2 dives, 1st dive was checking out our gear working properly & no deeper than 51' for a 1 hr dive. Moonsnails, sole, crabs, sea anemones, Copper Rock fish were our highlights, also the exploring we did as a team was wonderful. 2nd dive, we went straight out from the stairwell dive entry & found the sunken boat, bottle field, max depth 100' 41 minute dive, we saw 1 Ratfish besides all the other critters listed in the 1st dive. Saw no one there for the 3rd dive & went to the Sealab, opened to the public on Sat from 10:00AM to 2:00PM & ran into some dive buddies that volunteer there. 1st time there & they gave me the complete tour. The Sealab is run by Highland Communitity College. They will have the bones of a whale hanging in the ceiling on display next month. Highlights of the critters at the Sealab, volunteer staff members feeding their Wolfeel, Female GPO, Red Octopus, Stubby Squid, Female Rock Greenling.
