Movie at the Rafael: The Intouchables

This irreverent, uplifting comedy about friendship, trust and human possibility broke box office records in its native France and across Europe, and in the U.S. it has been nominated for a "Best Foreign Language Film" Golden Globe and also short-listed for Academy Award consideration. This delightful odd-couple tale of friendship between a wheelchair-bound millionaire (Francois Cluzet) and his street-smart, ex-con caretaker (Omar Sy) was nominated for nine French Cesar Awards, including Best Picture, and won Best Actor for breakout star Omar Sy. Rated R for language and some drug use. In French with English subtitles. Writers/Directors: Eric Toledano, Olivier Nakache. (France 2012) 112 min.

3:30 movie at the Rafael with an optional early dinner next door at Aroma. Please buy your ticket by 3:15. Depending on how many people sign up, some of us may go in early and save seats.

Last minute, but also need to cancel. Not sure if anyone tracks these things anyway. I just joined two days ago, so I don't know how this works.

Hi everyone! Given the size of the group, let's shoot for meeting in the lobby at 3:15. I'll call the theater and see if I can get reserved seats for us since our group is so large. For those of you who are interested, we can plan on heading over to Aroma or Broken Drum afterwards for some food and drinks.
