Thanks Sara! Love all those great songwriters who marshalled the courage up to write those sometimes deeply personal wonderful songs and share them with the world.

Yes, that's baritone uke tuning -- same as guitar. You CAN play it this way on a uke; just ignore the chord names, and use the fingerings as show. You'll be playing in G. The only person who might get confused is the bass player. (And even he probably will be able to handle it.)

Even a bass player? No way!

The notation shows low d, as well (on white christmas), but it works just fine on soprano :-)

I'm a little out of it, just had a medical procedure with anesthesia. Doc said stay home tonight.

Is that version of White Christmas for the Baritone uke? I'm not sure of what tuning that is (even though I know we just did that at the last meeting or the meeting before!)

Awesome! I'm glad to see planning for Mighty Uke Day, I'd really like to see us pull off something spectacular!

    Good question, Jim.

Let's do both! I've uploaded a Christmas songbook in <More,Files> that we can use to get us started. Be sure to log in as a member to be able to view these songs. Post any other songs you might like to do.

Also, anyone that's planning to attend the December meeting, please RSVP so we know how many to expect.

    Thanks,
    Craig.
