Ukes in Hell.
Which is better for Ukes in Hell. Saturday Aug. 3 or Saturday Aug. 17?
I know I won't be available on the 3rd. The 17th is possible, but not locked.
Joe and I are leaving for Kauai on Aug 17.
You'd rather go to Kauai than to Hell? I see your point!
17th is roller derby
3 is better than 17. Wedding on the 17th.
Either is ok with me at this point.
The Mighty Uke Day III video is up on the website.

I'm sending this out to the core group:
Does anyone have a battery powered amplifer we can use for our June 8th gig in Northville?
We've got a couple lined up but are looking for more.
Please respond either here or to me directly at [masked].

I will be bringing mine. I think Prashant has one as well.
Yup, will bring mine if I can make it to the gig or lend it to anyone who needs it if I can't.

Would love to, but leaving for Italy on June 9. Outdoors sounds less intimidating. Will need many outdoor jams this summer.

Let's get geared up for Canton on June 15th. Here's a note from Melanee:
"This is a HUGE stage. It's outdoors and it's an awesome location. We need a big group. C'mon...woo hoo!!!"
RSVP to get details on Canton. Even if you are not sure you can make it, RSVP to stay in the loop.

words fail to live up to the day's events!
Outstanding! We rocked that place! The Hoaloha Dancers with the Motor City Ukes was a huge success! What a great job by all involved.

Although I did not play with you all this time, my wife and I had a great time at Might Uke Day yesterday. Good music, good people, friendly atmosphere. An excellent time.

Stage events on the list are free. Also free are open mike at Sir Pizza and Greg's children's/beginner's workshop. Saturday evening concert is sold out. There is a charge for Friday evening concert and for workshops (except for Greg's ). There are also raffle's and sales all day Saturday. Last year the sidewalks were full of crazy uke players and there were some informal outdoor strum alongs during the day. There are also some great art galleries and shops in the area.

Thanks, Fawn! Sounds like it'll be fun just to take it all in and wander around...
Coming on Saturday, looks like fun! Anyone know what's free? Is this kind of in the streets of Old Town?

Looks like this will be my first Might Uke event. I am pretty fired up about it. Can't wait to see and hear so many ukes in one place at one time.
