About Mountain Jam

There are a wide variety of interests and skill levels in this group, from beginners to accomplished, classical to bluegrass to rock, old and new. The idea of the group is to become a kind of musical crossroads, where you might try a new style, or jam to a new tune, or try out a piece you're working on with some players willing to give you a band behind it.

We could hold outdoor jams here on Kelly Lane, or at some other venue like a park, public auditorium, church or activity center. With some practice or good transcripts, we may even play some organized events; live music is the thing, and we want everyone to feel "in" so please come and be with us.

it's is a great place to get some fresh air, in the Fall and Spring come earlier and go for a hike; there are great views and some history here.
