This is a group geared toward beginner to intermediate runners. We have 3 weekly runs - Saturday mornings, Monday and Thursday evenings. Saturday mornings we start promptly at 8:30am outside the gym, Overtime Fitness (1625 N. Shoreline Blvd. Mountain View). We then walk & do active stretching as we make our way to the Stevens Creek Trail (at La Avenida). Our run is usually just a little over 3 miles, although you are welcome to go farther or run less if you wish (and you can walk too!). Afterwards we hang out at Starbucks (1380 Pear Ave.) for about 25 min. to have coffee together. Monday evening is a track speed workout starting at 5:30pm and meets at the track at Graham Middle School in Mountain View. The Thursday evening run starts at the SMART station in Sunnyvale and usually is around 4-6 miles in distance. Those that want can go to dinner afterwards (at various locations). Every so often we also sign up for a 5k or 10k or half marathon race to do together as a group. Even though there are a lot of people in this run club, we average about 18 participants every Saturday and a bit fewer on Monday & Thursday evenings. It's a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends! Come check it out!
