Cambusbarron.. Roads, single track, cliff top ridges, roots, rocks, drops, north shore, tough climbs and fast descents. Sometimes you are in full control and sometimes you are simply a passenger..
Pretty much everything that a mountain biker loves..
It's tough in parts and not suited for absolute beginners. The hardest parts are walkable though so, as long as you have a decent level of fitness you will be fine..
Aim to meet at around 10am for a 10.30 start.
Depending on weather.. The ride can take anything between 3 and 5 hours but there will be a few stops along the way so that we can refuel and enjoy the fantastic views..
If anyone is unsure of the area.. I can arrange a meeting point at Stirling services on the M9. The trails are only 5-10 minutes away from there.
As always.. no lid no ride.
Pads are optional but I wouldn't consider riding here without them..
Long sleeved top's are advised as some of the trails are overgrown and there are a few bramble bushes around..
Who's in? :-)
