Hike: Mount Monadnock via Pumpelly Trail (Intermediate)

Hiking Mount Monadnock via Pumpelly Trail Saturday July 5th.

We will hike the Pumpelly trail leaving from the shore of Dublin Lake. Please arrive by 8AM, on the trail by 8:15.

I would consider this an intermediate hike. I would  like to keep a good pace for this hike but certainly want to take time to enjoy the views and some time up top. The trail is 4.5 miles each way. I expect 4-5 hours round trip. Please come prepared with map, good boots, clothes appropriate for the weather, snacks and food for the top.

Here is a link to trails on Monadnock,

If the weather is good(hot) I plan on a quick swim in Dublin Lake right across the road from the trail.

I will be leaving home at 6:45 AM, please RSVP prior to then. You must leave your cell phone number with your RSVP. My cell is[masked] for any last minute changes.

Dogs are not allowed in Monadnock State Park
