Which aspects of mountaineering and backcountry sports are of most interest to you? -- (Hiking) (Backcountry Skiing) (Ice Climbing) (Rock Climbing) (Backpacking & Camping) ?

My favorite part of hiking and climbing is wonderful the landscapes, and the satisfaction that you have to get there with your own two feet.

What is your level of mountaineering experience or other backcountry skills? -- (Novice) (Beginner) (Intermediate) (Advanced) (Pro)? (Feel free to add some specifics):

Intermediate skills in French Technique, crevasse rescue, traveling on a rope team, rock anchors, snow/ice anchors .

What is your greatest achievement in the the mountains as of today?

Climbing Mount Baker and the Liberty Bell group in Washington in August

What is you "next" greatest goal? Touch some summit? Backpack a trail?

Learn to ice climb

What was your most epic, trip that gives you the cold sweats in the middle of the night?

Trapped in a serious lighting storm just below tree line at night. A 2 hour lightening drill ensued, followed by lots of jumping jacks, and a sleepless night.

I'm a MA native and have the love the mountains since my college days in VT. Backpacker turned aspiring alpinist.
