Which aspects of mountaineering and backcountry sports are of most interest to you? -- (Hiking) (Backcountry Skiing) (Ice Climbing) (Rock Climbing) (Backpacking & Camping) ?

I enjoy hiking (winter and summer), backcountry skiing, backpacking, and camping.

What is your level of mountaineering experience or other backcountry skills? -- (Novice) (Beginner) (Intermediate) (Advanced) (Pro)? (Feel free to add some specifics):

I am very experienced at winter hiking. Let's call that advanced.

What is your greatest achievement in the the mountains as of today?

My greatest achievement is hiking all the 4000 footers in New York, and New England. The tallest mountain I've climbed was Mount Conness (12,000 foot) in California.

What is you "next" greatest goal? Touch some summit? Backpack a trail?

My next goal is to climb all the 4000 footers in New Hampshire in the Winter.

What was your most epic, trip that gives you the cold sweats in the middle of the night?

Probably back country skiing in Colorado using the 10th Mountain Division Huts as a base camp. Very cool skiing at 10,000 feet without lift service.

Hi, I moved to New Hampshire 5 years ago because I wanted a place that was close to mountains.
