I'm into hiking, skiing, backpacking. I enjoy mountaineering in the Rockies (nothing extreme just class 3/4 scrambles).
I would say I have intermediate route-finding mountaineering skills. I'm an experienced x-country skier but not too experienced at backcountry skiing.
I think soloing a traverse from Logan pass to Lake McDonald in Glacier Park was pretty good considering I had no experience with route finding and off trail hiking/ climbing at the time
I plan to Climb Mount Stimson in Montana. It includes a 3 day backpack into a wild region. Should be fun (hope the weather is good).
I had a number of solo trips camping out in wilderness areas with high populations of Grizzly bears around. I'm still not used to that.
Hi, I enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, running, backpacking.
