Tend to like It's a Wonderful Life, Hero, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Roman Holiday, Philadelphia Story (and most anything with Cary Grant/Kate Hepburn), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Shawshank Redemption, Usual Suspects, Manchurian Candidate (the orig. version) Chicken Run, Amelie, Rivers and Tides, Lost in Translation, Good Will Hunting, and Fight Club. (The latter doesn’t make sense in many ways because I detest watching anything violent, so I *hate* the fight scenes -- and the acid on the hand bit-- but love the rest of it. It‘s such great social commentary, plus it‘s a sexy little film, too!) Life of Brian is darn good, too. “ Always look on the bright side of life....” Cracks me up every time. I usually try to watch that each Easter which may very well put a dagger into my very-Catholic mother‘s heart. lol. Many others that I've seen and loved...but this is what comes to mind ...
Not in the summer. :-)
Love good, solid films of most genres. Like hanging out with people who like them, too!
