This is just an update that we have a great group of films and more will be added to the line up.
Adam is showing the outstanding Angels in America; and in Jane's private theater, we also have Hitchcock's Vertigo with James Stewart and Kim Novak (1958); Hitchcock's next to last film, Frenzy (1972), which he filmed in England; The original Planet of the Apes (1968) which is especially intriguing in light of the newly released prequel with James Franco, Rise of the Planet of the Apes (a campy 1958 science fiction film, Queen of Outer Space will be shown as an optional double feature with Planet of the Apes); Belle de Jour (1967) with Catherine Deneuve, directed by Luis Bunuel--Roger Ebert calls this "possibly the best known and the best erotic film of all time"; and the Oscar winning documentary Man on Wire (2008), about French performer Phillippe Petit's 1974 high wire walk from one of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers to the other--this film made over 75 best films of the year list.
And on 8/19, seriously zany cult classic Blue Sunshine, a drama about the hideous, long delayed effects of 1960s drug experimentation, with intensely absurdist mayhem breaking out.
Lisa will also be having meet ups at her private theater in Lebanon (to be announced). Both Jane's and Lisa's Private theaters have stadium seating and screens over 9' diagonally.
Please check out the films and make suggestions for films you would like to see since there is much room on the schedule for more films.
