Told through the eyes of Chicagoans, this is a film, densely-packed with
rich morsels of African American history and culture...and their inseperable, invaluable part of the American quilt.

The movie provided a lot of historical information from a very diverse group of Americans who were immersed in the black Chicago cultural experience. However from artistic and technical perspectives, I felt that the quality was not very good, e.g. story flow, direction, editing, sound, picture quality, etc. Despite that, the overall experience was good and I am glad that I had a chance to see this movie. Thanks to all involved in making this happen.

I work on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, so can't attend. I prefer events in the suburbs.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
