Jobs

Jobs ~ Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons

In 1976, college dropout Steve Jobs heralded a revolution within the confines of his parents' garage. Jobs, along with friend and technical wizard Steve Wozniak, unleashed the homebrew Apple 1 personal computer kit onto an unsuspecting public, producing 200 units by hand and shipping each one themselves. Apple Inc. was born, and the world would never be the same. Today hundreds of millions of users around the world remain tethered to the remarkable products that Jobs championed - his impact on the world of technology was undoubtedly colossal, but his effect on our culture was simply immeasurable.

We will meet at 3:30 pm. The movie starts at 4:00 pm.  Don't forget to purchase your ticket when you arrive. We will wait in the outer lobby where you purchase your ticket for about 10 minutes and then go in as a group. If you are late, just find a seat and meet us outside the theater after
the movie.

After the movie we will gather at a nearby restaurant for some conversation and a bite to eat.

A $2.00 annual contribution will be collected at the first movie you attend in 2013 to help with the cost of maintaining the web site for this year.

See you at the movies!

Joan

A very well-made movie. Ashton Kutcher was much better than I expected. Didn't realize Jobs was such an SOB in his personal life (knew he was in his business life).

Really liked the movie and Ashton Kutcher did a good job of portraying Jobs. Nice to meet all of the new members. Glad you could make it!

I now have to download the book or audio book. I knew very little of Steve Jobs. I did switch over to all Apple products and can say that they are the great! Love my Iphone, ipad, Ipod and Mac Air. LOL

My girlfriend said the movie was getting bad reviews. However, since it was a meetup choice I decided to go and was glad i did.
Thought Ashton did a good job in his serious role and made the perfect Steve Jobs. Loved SJ s revenge in the end.

Did. You like the retro shot of New Balance when he had his foot on the desk?

    Off to download "Jobs"

I'm not sure yet because I might be going to visit my son in Oakhurst NJ. I won't know until tomorrow morning. If I can't make this one, I hope to see all of you at the next one.

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you are planning on eating out after the movie another excellent choice is Catelli Duo. Ate there tonight and it was delicious. They have artisan pizza and they looked delicious. Just go out the back way of the movie and you are almost there. Excellent.

In case anyone wants to eat out close by the new Pub by the Exhelon Mall at Town Center is excellent. Ate there last night and food was top motch. So is Eleana Wu there. The Eleana Wh restaurant is good at both locations too.
