The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species. Meet @ 3:45 for 4:00 show (3D). Sorry for price tag ($13.75). After the movie, we'll pick a place for dinner. If you have trouble finding us, call me (608) 712-3754.

Hi guys, I'm so sorry I didn't make it! I was really looking forward to it! I had a plumbing crisis at my "up north" house this weekend and am just finally hitting the road to get myself home. I hope the movie and Indian food was great!??

Just saw it at Point Cinemas for $5. Loved it!
But was it the 3D version?
I prefer 2D and that's what I saw. Wonderful film.
So sorry but have to skip this one now, just not feeling well and don't want to be a drag on the festivities. Hope to make the next one! Have fun.
I don't know what people's tastes are, but there is a relatively new Indian restaurant close to the theater
Good to hear. The name is Haveli for your future reference
I'm not seeing a 4:00 start time nor 3D over at Star Cinema.

Nevermind. For some idiotic reason Fandango isn't showing the 3D showtimes so I ordered my ticket through AMC's website.
There are central institutions like the FAA and the SEC that gather information from everyone in the game and set rules. Sadly, movie theaters often reserve the right to change showtimes or pull a film altogether right up to show time (yes, I have been burned by a same-day movie pulling, and Hurt Locker was well-reviewed).
OOH, thanks for organizing this! I can't watch 3D so I'll pass. Would love to see it 2D sometime though.

Love it! Ok, just to be sure, what are all the movies I should watch to be totally prepared? :) I've seen the three X-Men movies, but I feel like there are others I might've missed.

Days of Future Past probably works as a stand-alone, perhaps a little more interesting if you have seen First Class. If you have seen three, you will be ahead of most, I suspect.
I've seen none of the previous movies, Dan, hoping to just pick it up as it goes along. Think that'll be OK?
Absolutely. As long as you like mutants with superpowers, it will all be good.
Sorry, already made plans to see it on Memorial Day.
Sounds like fun! Looking forward to the movie and getting together after for a meal. Close by there is a new place called the Flying Hound that is supposed to be very good. They have some outdoor seating too, if the weather is nice. Just an idea. Also, if people wanted to skip the 3D version and just see it as a regular movie, that would be fine with me.

After most movies, we go to dinner. Movies start good conversations; we continue them..
Madison offers so many terrific restaurants that are nowhere near theaters that we sometimes skip the cinema and simply go out to eat.
Anyone can be a member for free for 180 days. After that, we ask that folks pay $1.50 per year to pay for the cost of using the Meetup web site. Thanks for checking out our group.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
