Chatterbox Pub Linden Hills BYOG Sunday Dec 27

Mike said, "I was wondering if anyone would like to meet at Chatterbox in Linden Hills on December 27 (yeah it's a bit from now). I don't live in the Twin Cities but I'll be there for a couple days and thought it'd be fun to meet some folks for games. I'll probably only have a travel game or two but if other folks bring some games we can have a good time."

I'm currently attempting to contact Chatterbox for details on food and booze purchase minimums. Justin tells me they will not reserve tables. My intention at this time is to have something indicating where I'm at, I'll get the biggest table I can then we'll just spread out from there. I only expect to have a copy of the base game for Dominion with me. I don't live in the Twin Cities (yet) so I'll be traveling light. I'm hoping each person will bring one game of interest with them.

Update: I (Jennifer) will pinch hitting as host. Ask the host for the "Game Meetup Group." Hope to see you there!

Yeah, you had mentioned that but people had already started confirming so I figured we'd stick with the plan. I haven't thought of anything to deal with the seating issue directly but I figured once I get there. On Sunday I can post details here and we'll just do our best to rally. If anyone wants a text that eve to confirm where we are in chatterbox, email me with your cell.

It might be easier on a Sunday evening to get tables, but the challenge at the linden hills chatterbox when we tried an event there on a Friday night was that they were so busy and everyone showed up at different times so it wasn't possible to get the group all together since they wouldn't let me "hold" tables even when I told them I have x# of people coming. They were much more strict about 1st come 1st serve than the other two locations..

Hi Mike...Most of the games are pretty complete actually - but then again, I tend to only play a few of them so your mileage may vary. If you have a game you want to play, you can always bring it just to be safe - but so far it hasn't been a problem and most of our meetups have been at one of the three chatterboxes.

I enjoy boggle, I'll warn you, my wife is really good.
Justin, I've never been to chatterbox but I saw the list and I wondered how many of the games are complete. Do you have enough experience with them to say if most of their games are complete?

For those of you who've not been to a chatterbox before, they have their own games. Here's a list to check before you decide which games to bring, if any:
