Ken Says:

Hi, this is Ken - I've been in this group for about two years. Some of you know me, most of you (400 members!) don't, but don't let that stop you. All are welcome to this event. I like all kinds of games, but at the moment I only have two decent games:
Cathedral (2 players): http://www.boardgameg...
Raceway 57 (2-5 players): http://www.boardgameg...

So, please bring your favorite game(s) so we have a better selection to choose from. And it'd be great if you mention the game you're bringing in your RSVP so others know what not to bring. We (my wife Lorie and I) have two tables so we can play two simultaneous games or all play the same game.
We'll provide chips, salsa, Coke & diet Coke, and you can bring whatever else you'd like to eat/drink. ALERGY WARNING: There is one friendly cat in our home, but we can put him outside if you wish. He'll probably be outside anyway annoying the ducks!

I had a great time playing Scattergories, Loser, Raceway 57, and Catch Phrase. The guests were friendly and fun, and the cheeseball and hummus w/ pita were good too - thanks everybody! There was definite interest in Eurogames (which we didn't have), so we missed Uli. I'm still negotiating with my wife how often I can host these things, but stay tuned. It might be a once-a-month event, Justin willing.

Uli, which games are you planning to bring? As with most Eurogames I've played, it would probably enhance my enjoyment of the game if I could study the rules online beforehand!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
