We are men and women who love to explore new hiking and snowshoe trails.
Although we LOVE MRNP, the hiking trails within the Park are accessible about 3 short months a year.  During this time, we will try to post as many hikes as possible to take advantage of the weather and trails without snow.
We will also be posting hiking outside the Park to keep in shape and explore new areas.  Many of us have hiked the Rainier trails numerous times and are anxious to try new trails.
During the winter, we will post snowshoe outings usually outside the Park. This is due to the Park flagging a limited number of trails.  We have snowshoed those many times and yearn to try new trails.
Our group is prepared for all types of weather.  We adhere to Leave No Trace and Pack it in, Pack it out.
We ask that you read what is needed for participation on the discussion board.  That states all you need to know and what is expected of you, if you decide to join our meetup and if you sign up for a hike or snowshoe.
We want to enjoy the experience, have fun, stay safe and meet others who love the outdoors too.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
