In 2009, I plan on being at Mt Rainier at least once a month. Explore each entrance to this national park. Day hikes and photography opportunities galore. All are welcome to join in my quest for learning more about this mountain in my backyard.

Trips will be on Saturdays or Sundays. I am committed to this. Will you consider joining me? Your ideas and input are greatly appreciated.

Look at our photo albums of the trips we have taken so far.

Hey, let's check out what is happening up at Paradise. Congratulations to April for meeting her goal of being at Mt. Rainier at least once a month in 2009. Let's play in the beautiful snow on this wonderful mountain.

We will meet at the Roy Y and carpool and caravan to the mountain. If the road to Paradise is open, chains or all/four wheel drive are required. Please be prepared to offer the driver some cash for gas. Read more

“I am passionate about Mt. Rainier. I grew up here, visiting at least twice a year. I've got the maps & know most of the spots on the Nisqually-side of the Mt. & much of the Hwy 410 area too. Mt. R is a sacred place or me, my family, & many here.”
