This group is for multiracial, multiethnic, transracially-adopted, mixed families! All parents need a good support network; join other interracial families who are going through the same parenting adventures as you. Plus, your kids can develop friendships with other biracial/multiracial/adopted kids.

This group is affiliated with Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC), which is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the mixed race community for over 20 years. Visit www.mascsite.org or check out MASC's Meetup group for more info!

We will have meetups in Pasadena, South Pasadena, Alhambra, Glendale, Arcadia, and other areas of Northeast LA. I am a stay at home mom with a 9 month old baby, so meetups will mostly happen on weekdays at baby-friendly venues. We will occasionally have weekend meetups, such as events sponsored by MASC.

If you are not in this part of LA or can't make meetups during the week (or if you can!), feel free to join MASC's PLAY (Parenting, Learning, and Youth) Group for biracial and multiracial children and their families. Multiracial children can befriend other multiracial peers, and parents can find support for raising their multicultural family. PLAY Group events are less frequent, on weekends, in locations throughout LA. Email parent@mascsite.org if you are interested in joining.
