Google Hangout: firstname.lastname@example.org, München
While getting ready for the next Functional Institute meetup and hacking on the Event Streams, we're setting up an online hangout for people who'd like to get more familiar with Clojure first.
We're going to go through the collections overview and some core Clojure concepts from Clojure Workshop: https://github.com/defworkshop/defworkshop
We're going to go through the steps of setting up a repl and compilation. All the steps will be performed by using a virtual machine with pre-installed Emacs and everything one could possibly need to jumpstart his work with Clojure.
You can download an image with pre-configured Emacs and Leiningen from here: http://3141.eu/dl/functional_institute.ova
