Ruby User Group Meetup

We have drinks, food, and a great line-up of talks:

Mathias Huber: ""
A fun web community for practicing Ruby and other languages with feedback from your peers.

Christian Mager ( "NANUQ3 CloudCMS"
A CMS ( developed in Ruby on Rails.

Dennis Herr (TUM, "Experella-Proxy, a load balancing reverse proxy"
Service-oriented architectures can be quite tricky to handle. Routing  logic is hard to setup or modify and often needs to be configured in a low-level programming language. So we decided to build a load balancing reverse proxy in Ruby. The presentation will cover motivation & requirements to build a reverse proxy, simple use cases, an introduction to Experella-Proxy and features to aim for.

After the talks you are invited to help yourself to some more drinks, socialize, and talk about the conferences you will be attending this year (you can find some at)

Hello everybody, we are still looking for speakers for the February meetup. Join us at the exciting location of the tower on Donnersbergerbrücke!

Via our member Patrick Mulder, here is some excellent inspiration for talks:

These are far from the only seeds for good presentations, but it's a start.

What is the last thing you spent more than 15 minute trying to figure out?
What is the last tool, process, or code you wrote that made you excited enough to tell somebody else?
What was the last question you asked a more senior developer?
What was the last question a more junior developer asked you?
What do you wish somebody had told you a year ago?
What was the last blog post or presentation in the community that you disagreed with?
