I would love to attend, but am unable to this day. I will be there in spirit.

Louis is right -- we'll keep the book, Citizen Lobbyist, by Amanda Knief, but we'll postpone our discussion until the January 5th meeting. I'm not going to take this post down, but the meeting on November 3 is cancelled altogether, and the next Bookclub meeting is January 5th! All other meetups continue as scheduled.
I'm still planning on having Amanda Skype with us, so be sure to read the book - it's a very quick read, and tiny dinero on Amazon!
See you soon!

Talking with Gayle last night, I think we have agreed to postpone this meeting till the following month, since too few people will be able to attend.
Ok, here's the book for the November club meeting:
It's titled "Citizen Lobbyist" by Amanda Knief. (This is a change from our discussion on Sunday, because we have the opportunity to Skype with Amanda that day!)
It's a small book, so the short notice shouldn't be a problem, and additionally it's very reasonably priced at Amazon. Read the reviews at the bottom of the following link for an overview of the book.
Enjoy the book, and hope to see you there!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
