Tell us about yourself:

I graduated from college in 2007 with a degree in History and Anthropology. It was while working in Archaeology that I first began to truely doubt my faith. I was working on Neanderthal remains and their collection and saw their love and care for each other in their groups. Burial and compassion, yet according to the Bible that wasn't a "human". From then on I began to look into the alternative views, and the more I found my beliefs crumbling. I became entranced with the debates by Hitchens, Harris, and Dawkins. To this day, I find that I have become more open in how I see myself, and it has greatly helped me free my shackles of religion. I am the ONLY Atheist in my family and that is something that has not sat well with them. But my life is my own, I will not be forced to believe others, and want to do all I can to prevent others from being forced to stay with it or to be forcefully taught what defies reason.

Weeknights or weekends for meetups?

Either is great for me!

Hi there! I am an atheist who is looking to find others like me to chat with and discuss those things we find thought! I graduated from Alabama in 07 and was raised in a Christian family. I look forward to meeting everyone!
