Meet and greet, and Resilient Communities discussion.

The new owner of the Be Prepared store in Murrieta has graciously agreed to allow us to start meeting there again. This will be a great opportunity for new members to meet likeminded folks, and for old members to keep on prepping!

Good stuff, glad to put faces on the names, makes a bit of a comfert bubble to attend classes for those of us apprehensive about strangers houses.

It was great meeting everyone. Look forward to additional meetups that people put on. It sounds like there a lot of people in this group that have skills to teach...Don't be a hoarder with you skills!! Share...it's the only way the group will be able to keep going!

Very good for meeting existing members and new members i.e. Intros. Suggest that next meeting include getting members to commit to hosting workshops and skill classes. Easy to "Suggest Meetup" by going to Upcoming Meetups. I look foward to this group moving in the direction of Education and Skill Building and not as a Support Group.

I think the meet and greet was insightful and I met some good people with interesting skill sets.

It was a pleasure to meet all of you, sorry if I could not talk with each one of you personally in depth. This group has a good base and a lot of knowledge and a willingness to share, and as you can see I am passionate about the need to prepare and provide for yourself not just only for emergencies but for everyday living. We need to meet at least once a month and have classes that will help those that are just started getting prepared. Some of your questions can be answered here... http://www.preparedsociety.com/forum/ a forum I have participated in for a couple of years now. We have discussed almost every subject, from homesteading, self sufficiency, living off the grid to organic gardening and herbs.

Hi all! Looks like we might have 30+ preppers showing up to this event, and we only have 20 chairs is does anyone have any metal or plastic party type chairs they can bring to the meeting?
