Gold Panning

  • Needs a date

  • San Gabriel River

Above Azusa off HWY 39, L.A., CA (map)

    0.000000 0.000000

  • All members are invited anyone interested we are mounting a gold panning expidition to the San Gabriel River and prospect for some gold later this month. This is very good for fitness, meet new friends, can camp out if you want, fish and a chance to find a little gold. The San Gabriel river is running enough to pan for gold now and is fairly warmer and most creeks in the area have running water now. It has been very dry for the last two years so its now great for panning.  We'll come up with a date and the whole family is invited. Let me know your level of interest. Thx

A lot of us want to wait till warmer weather. Also many think San grabrial River would be best. Let me know. I like both locations and have done well at both. Also there is always the mother lode on north and south highway 49, thats great all summer. Let me know what you think and w'ell get down with the planning.
