Are you willing to learn how to get prepared?

Have been and will continue to.

Are you willing to promote a positive image of Preppers?

Have been and will continue to.

Are you willing to help organize regular scheduled meetups?

It depends on location. I have taught intro to solar cooking at Valle Vista library and at the parks. I live in Hemet and I am not likely to attend many meet ups. I was injured in 2000 and have chronic pain that is triggered by walking and standing so I don't leave the house much, leave the house much, let along the Valle Vista (East Hemet). If you don't mind driving to Hemet. I sometimes teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the park. My 11-year-old is currently demonstrating a tin can rocket stove while I explain the details of it. This was his science fair project. We are now working on his fourth rocket stove.

Preppers believe that "everyone" should get prepared. Are you willing to be inclusive of others no mater their race, religion, gender, etnicity etc...?

Tell us what got you interested in preparing and what you would like to see happen with this group.

I have always thought it was practical. I started when I taught first aid and cpr at 18 yrs old. I began stocking up on supplies in order to make use of good sales. I prep to be ultra frugal, comfortable during power outages, because I love to make useful stuff, and because I have friends that are missionaries who need me to research the best solutions for them. I am prepping from a homeschoolers viewpoint. My son and I work together on prepping projects. I would love to meet other homeschool preppers (especially in Hemet). My son and I are a couple of mad scientists that love to build and tweak, tweak, tweak. Here is his first rocket stove: The solar cooking posts are woefully in need of more pictures and links. I will be updating them after school winds down in June.

I am a Christian homeschooling mommy with a passion for frugal living. I started decades ago. I call it extreme common sense. I love the being-prepared lifestyle.

What Amirah is saying about this Meetup Group

Nice group of helpful seasoned and newbie preppers.
